Onyx - a pony breaker 6 weeks after arriving at Kulavale. 

Onyx had had basic handling when she came to Kulavale and was a little headstrong and "opinionated". 

Upon arriving at Kulavale she learned how to tie-up and wait, was mouthed, taught how to lunge and long-rein & was then backed. 
Charlie had some severe floating issues upon arriving at Kulavale. He was troublesome to load and required a "bum rope" and sometimes just wouldn't load. When getting off the float he would rush off and had actually fallen over on the way out of the float. 

This is Charlie after 1 week of float training at Kulavale. It was a slow process and a lot of patience as Charlie was genuinely afraid of the float and needed his confidence built up. 

Campaign your horse at Dressage & Show Horse Competitions

We take horses for long term training and campaigning at dressage and show competitions..

We are available to compete horses taken in for sale preparation to help make the horse more sellable. 

Part of the training process can also comprise of taking the horse to a competition/s to ensure it behaves well in public and to broaden it's experience level or iron out any issues the horse may have when being ridden in a new environment. 

Sale Preparation & Prepared Marketing Package


  • 2 Weeks Training and Sales Preparation
  • Owner photos assessed and chosen for advertising based on suitability
  • Photos taken for sale advertising during training & sale prep
  • Owner video's assessed & edited based on suitability
  • Video taken advertising during training & sale prep
  • Advertisement written based on information provided by owner and our assessment during training & sale prep.
  • Video and images uploaded onto Kulavale webpage & facebook page - deleted after 1 month unless notified otherwise. 

Optional Extras
  • Your horse continue training at KPH until sold. We will prepare and ride your horse for potential purchasers however you will need to arrange bookings with both KPH & purchasers. 
  • Bring your horse back to KPH to be ridden for pre-purchase inspections. 

Pre-Purchase Assessment

Wanting to purchase a horse and not sure where to start? We offer consulting on pre-purchase assessments based on your specified requirements. We are also able to negotiate the sale on your behalf if required.

Dressage & Riding Lessons

Do you want to improve your riding skills or communicate more effectively with your horse? Want to ride a dressage test but don't know where to start? Then contact us and she will be able to help you. 
  • Dressage lessons - beginners to experienced riders & including introduction to riding dressage.
  • General horsemanship and personal riding skills.
  • School/clinic at your club during the week or weekend.
